Prospective Marriage Visa
The Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) is for individuals who are engaged to be married to an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen and wish to enter Australia to marry their partner. This visa is valid for nine months and requires applicants to marry their sponsor within this period. After marriage, applicants can apply for an onshore partner visa to remain in Australia permanently.
